About Our Pastor

Pastor Kevin Williams Jr., a dedicated spiritual leader and community servant, has been faithfully pastoring at Greater Bible Way Temple of Albion for a decade. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, Pastor Williams is a proud native who has dedicated his life to both his faith and his community. Pastor Williams married the love of his life Lady Amara Burrel Williams, God has blessed the strength of this union for nearly 9 years.

He began his academic journey at New Mexico Military Institute, then transitioning to Oakland Community College, where he graduated Cum Laude with an Associate's Degree, showcasing his commitment to excellence early on. He furthered his education at Oakland City University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science, which has provided a strong foundation for his work in both his pastoral and professional roles.


Alongside his pastoral duties, Pastor Williams cultivates a career at Ford Motor Company, where he applies his leadership skills and dedication to success. His commitment to community service extends beyond the church walls, as he serves with the Northern District Council as the Director of Protocol and Head of Security, ensuring the safety and order of local events and gatherings.


Pastor Williams has dedicated his life to serving others and spreading the gospel, drawing inspiration and guidance from his deeply rooted family and spiritual mentors. Growing up, his father Mr. Kevin Williams Sr., instilled great values and strong work ethics while his mother Evangelist Sandra Yvette Williams, was a pillar of strength and faith, instilling in him a profound biblical knowledge and an unwavering commitment to his beliefs. Their influence was pivotal in shaping his character and passion for ministry.

Pastor Williams developed a love and desire for Christ at an early age being Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ at the age of 12, and receiving Salvation with the evidence of speaking in tongues at the age of 14, according to Acts 2:4 & Acts 2:38. He credits his mother with nurturing his spiritual journey and introducing him to prison ministry, he witnessed his mother provide guidance to those in need of hope and redemption. These experiences were formative, solidifying his calling to serve those often overlooked by society.

In addition to his mother's influence, Pastor Williams acknowledges the invaluable guidance of his spiritual fathers in the gospel. These mentors played a crucial role in paving the path for his success, offering wisdom, support, and opportunities for growth within the ministry. Including Pastor William Watson pastor of Pentecostal Way Church, Van Wert, OH, Bishop Gary Harper pastor of Greater Grace Temple OGHM Taylor, MI, Bishop Ira Combs Jr. NDC Diocesan Bishop and pastor of Greater Bible Way Temple of Jackson, Bishop Avery D. Burrel pastor of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church in Muskegon Heights, MI.


Pastor Williams has received his Ministers License and is an Ordained Minister in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the Words Inc. In April 2024, Pastor Williams was humbly consecrated to the office of Suffragan Bishop in the Costa Rica Council Northern Pacific Region the 73rd Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World where his father-in-law the Honorable Bishop Avery D. Burrel is the Diocesan.


Throughout his career, Pastor Kevin Williams Jr. has remained a steadfast leader, driven by a passion for mentoring others and a deep-rooted belief in the power of community and faith. His journey reflects a harmonious blend of personal dedication, professional achievement, and unwavering service to his community.
